Beyond the foyer is the auction hall. Which is a cozy circular room, and has polished marble floors and white alabaster pillars supporting a vaulted ceiling. On both sides (west and east) are ascending rows of plush seating made from velvet and mahogany. With the main entrance at the south side and a small servants entrance at the north side of the room. The servants entrance is also where the slaves are brought in. In the middle of the room are 6 small platforms in a circle. Where female slaves are presenting themselves to be inspected and auctioned off.
